Our system makes use of advanced micro-medical skin-needling, a process which is used to encourage the treatment for scars naturally and regenerate. It is a very safe procedure and will leave you with smoother skin that is also brighter and healthier, as well as younger-looking. The body will react to the treatment by working within the dermis layer of the skin.
This is a process which takes time as it encourages the formation of collagen and then the generation of new skin cells. Blood supply to the skin is also encouraged and you will see the benefits of the treatment emerging over the following weeks and months.
In addition to scars and ageing skin, our EDS can be used to help with stretch marks and fine lines and wrinkles on the face, chest and neck. Our trained practitioner will explain how EDS works to make sure you gain a full understanding at your consultation.
We will use a topical anaesthetic to numb your skin and make the procedure as comfortable as possible.
It may surprise you to know that this particular treatment takes just an hour to complete, although there is a consultation process which takes place before the initial treatment.
It can take up to 6 weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen and the process will continue over the following months, providing you with a gradual and long-lasting enhancement.
We will normally recommend a series of 3 EDS Regenerate treatments, with approximately 6 weeks between each treatment. If you have acne scars and other types of scarring, you may need up to 5 procedures to ensure the best outcome.
